My Story

Becoming an executive coach wasn’t always part of the plan, but my unconventional journey prepared me in ways I couldn’t have anticipated. Each twist and challenge shaped the perspective and skills I bring to helping high-performing men embrace growth, rediscover purpose, and design a life that feels fulfilling.

I went to high school in a modest, working-class town once infamously labeled the heroin capital of America. Early on, I learned the value of resilience, grit, and discipline. With a chip on my shoulder and little direction academically, I poured myself into sports, eventually earning a spot as a Division 1 college soccer player.

In college, I defied expectations. Balancing the demands of being a student-athlete, I graduated near the top of my class and was the first in my family to earn a degree.

My curiosity about human potential led me to pursue a Bachelor’s in Psychology, a Master’s in Sport Psychology, and a Ph.D. in Education. Along the way, I worked night shifts at a psychiatric hospital, substitute taught, and counseled athletes—all experiences that deepened my understanding of perseverance and growth.

My career path took an unexpected turn into management consulting. Starting as an entry-level analyst, I climbed to partner within a decade, navigating the intense demands of the consulting world—long hours, tight deadlines, and constant pressure to deliver. By my early 30's, I was in the boardroom advising executives and board members who were twice my age.

As I advanced, I stepped into firm-wide leadership roles, including Chief People Officer, and then led a distressed SaaS firm to profitability, driving a 75% revenue increase in less than four years.

Through these experiences, I became intimately familiar with the challenges of high-performing professionals—the constant push for success, the balancing act between work and life, and the desire to find meaning beyond the next achievement.

But after years of chasing the traditional script for success, I realized I wasn’t fulfilled. I had followed the playbook to the letter, yet something was missing. That’s when I chose to rewrite the script.

Today, as an executive coach, I’m on a mission to help successful men in their 40s and beyond step back, reflect, and rediscover what matters most. Together, we build strategies to navigate transitions, deepen purpose, and make the next chapter the best one yet.
